We may also disclose information where required or authorised by Australian law, a court or tribunal, or where disclosure is otherwise permitted under applicable privacy law.

Website Platform and Overseas Data Processing

The Dantae Support Services website uses third-party website technology, including the Wix platform.

Information entered into a website form may therefore be transmitted to, processed by or stored using infrastructure operated by Wix and its service providers.

Wix operates internationally and currently advises that personal information may be processed or stored in locations outside Australia, including the United States, Ireland, Israel and other countries in which Wix or its service providers operate.

This is one of the reasons Dantae Support Services deliberately limits the amount and type of information that should be submitted through our public website forms.

Where information requires more sensitive or detailed handling, our team may move the communication away from the website form and use an appropriate internal process.

Security of Your Information

Dantae Support Services takes reasonable steps to protect personal information under our control from:

  • Misuse

  • Interference

  • Loss

  • Unauthorised access

  • Unauthorised modification

  • Unauthorised disclosure

This includes administrative, technical and access-control measures appropriate to the information being handled.

However, no website, internet transmission, email service or third-party cloud platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

For this reason, our website forms have deliberately been designed to collect minimal information at the first-contact stage.

Please do not use these forms to transmit information that would cause you concern if transmitted through a public internet service.

How Long We Keep Website Form Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or where retention is required or permitted by law.

For example:

  • An enquiry may be retained while it is being responded to and followed up.

  • A housing enquiry may be retained while a potential service or housing pathway is being considered.

  • Recruitment information may be retained while an application is being assessed and for an appropriate period afterwards.

  • Newsletter subscription information may be retained while you remain subscribed.

  • Limited records may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, security, dispute-resolution or record-keeping purposes.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required and there is no legal requirement to retain it, Dantae Support Services will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Information Provided About Another Person

If you are contacting Dantae Support Services on behalf of another person, such as a participant, family member or person you support, please provide only the minimum information necessary for us to understand the enquiry.

Where possible, provide your own contact information first and allow our team to contact you before providing detailed information about the other person.

You should only provide another person's personal information where you have appropriate authority, consent or another lawful basis to do so.

Please do not provide another person's sensitive medical, disability or participant information through our public website forms.

Using a Dantae Support Services website form is optional.

If you are uncomfortable providing your information through our website, you can bypass the website forms entirely and contact our team directly.

Data Breaches

Dantae Support Services maintains processes for responding to suspected or confirmed data breaches.

Where a data breach involving personal information is likely to result in serious harm and meets the requirements of the Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme, Dantae Support Services will take the actions required under applicable Australian privacy law, which may include notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

These principles address matters including:

  • Open and transparent management of personal information

  • Collection of personal information

  • Handling unsolicited personal information

  • Notification when information is collected

  • Use and disclosure

  • Direct marketing

  • Overseas disclosure

  • Information quality

  • Security

  • Access

  • Correction

Newsletter and electronic marketing communications are also managed with regard to the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

This notice should be read together with any broader Dantae Support Services privacy, confidentiality, participant information-management or employment policies that apply once an enquiry progresses beyond the initial website contact stage.

Purpose of These Website Tools

Our approach is intentionally simple:

The website starts the conversation — it does not replace the conversation.

We only ask for enough information to understand why you are contacting Dantae Support Services and who in our team is best placed to assist you.

If more detailed personal, participant, medical, employment or support information is required, a Dantae Support Services team member will contact you and explain the next appropriate step.
